Oakwood Cemetery is a small rural Cemetery was organized in 1882 by a group of local citizens who saw the need for a place of rest for the citizens of the community and surrounding area. The Cemetery is non-sectarian, and maintains its old style landscapes. Through the years, the Cemetery has adapted to the changes of the area, and will continue to change for the betterment of the community. The Cemetery has over 2,700 graves available on a sloping hill with open views. We also have other plots available in other areas of the Cemetery.
